This song starts off with a wolf whistle and then features a piano repetitively pounding out a standard 1950s style chord sequence. I found the singer a bit nasal and irritating - I didn't listen to the whole song. But it is an interesting period piece.
Bobby Hamilton doesn't have much of an internet footprint. He was born Robert Caristo in 1938 and was from Long Island. He was a teenager when he released "Crazy Eyes For You". It reached #40 on the Billboard Hot 100, so it was more popular in Toronto than in most places.
From the Discogs web site, I learned that Bobby Hamilton released three singles from 1958 to 1959 and that "Crazy Eyes For You" was originally the B-side of his first single, "While Walking Together (Thinking Of Love)". I couldn't find out anything else about him.
