I occasionally do creative writing whenever the mood strikes me. Here are some of the (relatively) better examples.

Travel diaries

In the late 1990's, I had more disposable income, so I travelled more. When I went anywhere, I kept notes.

Baseball writing

  • The Eldritch Horror Wakes (written in 2000 after the Yankees traded for a bunch of players)

  • Ypres 1917: Private Andrews Becomes A Man (written in 2000 after the Blue Jays were bombed by the Seattle Mariners)

  • Lately, I've been writing a bit for the Batter's Box, a Toronto-based interactive baseball magazine. (Link opens in new window.)

  • With the help of some of the Batter's Box people, I've created the Blue Jays Memory Project (now a wiki), which is a list of interesting little things about Blue Jays of the past.
