Jim Snell and Jack Saunders

Sadly, I could find nothing on Jim Snell, Jack Saunders, or their race, but I couldn't resist including this photograph anyway. I did notice that they have different methods of propulsion: Mr. Snell uses one pole and Mr. Saunders uses two. I also noticed that one man is missing his left leg while the other is missing his right. Perhaps somehow they could have joined forces?
