Casa De Los Fantasmas at the 2008 Toronto Fringe!
We will be performing an updated version of "Casa De Los Fantasmas" as a BYOV event at the Toronto Fringe theatre festival in July 2008!
About the show:
Long before there was television or cheap travel, there was radio. Families gathered in their living rooms to listen to such classic serial dramas as The Shadow, The Witch's Tale and The Whistler.
The Canadian Space Opera Company, with the help of U of T campus radio station CIUT, now brings these bygone days of radio back to life with "Casa De Los Fantasmas" ("House Of Ghosts"), a comic homage to those old-time radio shows that your parents or grandparents knew and loved.
In this episode: Duke and Emily Dane, a newly married couple from America, are honeymooning at the luxurious Hacienda De La Hoya in the remote wilderness of Argentina. But their wedded bliss is rudely interrupted when the hotel guests start mysteriously dying off, one by one by one...

All shows at CIUT (the U of T campus radio station), 91 St. George Street. Tickets are $10. No latecomers are admitted!
The venue seats about 30 people - half the tickets will be available in advance at the Toronto Fringe box office at the Tranzac Club, by phone at 416-967-1528, or online at www.fringetoronto.com. The other half will be available at CIUT starting one hour before the show. Hope to see you there!
